OJR MPO Membership Thank you for your interest in supporting the Owen J. Roberts Music Parents Organization - Band Chapter. The OJR MPO supports the district’s band programs from elementary through high school. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. With your paid membership, you will be able to vote on issues important to the success of the band programs.
Fundraising is a very important aspect of our group’s efforts. The OJR MPO Band Chapter raises funds through many activities, including your membership dues. Our fundraisers include: our annual Cavalcade, the south concession stand, cheesecake sales, a community yard sale, Vera Bradley bingo, pasta dinner, restaurant nights, truck wrap ads, spirit wear, band camp dinners, candy sales, Amazon Smiles and flower sales.
We proudly enhance the experience of our students. Through our fundraising, we have been able to provide funds for: additional educational staff for HS and MS marching band, HS and MS color guard, and indoor drumline; additional equipment; maintenance of the equipment truck and insurance needed for transportation to marching band, jazz band, and indoor drumline performances; instruments, music, and uniforms; senior awards and scholarships; and much more.
